Bio-Rad Laboratories Inc. has released version 8.1 of its KnowItAll
Informatics system, a fully integrated software and database package that includes
database building and management, search, analysis, structure drawing and reporting
in a single user interface. The spectral mixture analysis tool has been improved
to allow researchers to import the digital spectrum to be analyzed, and the software
searches and compares the sample to reference databases of known compounds. Results
include mixture component ratios to help researchers understand the relative proportions
of the components.
