Chroma Technology’s sputtered metal UV interference filters offer the highest levels of Deep UV transmission of any UV metal coated filters available.
Coupled with the broad out-of-wavelength blocking provided by metal filters ( >OD4 through the Deep-IR), they’re excellent choices for transmitting UV mercury and cadmium lines from discharge lamps, excimer lamp and laser lines, nitrogen lasers and for Raman applications and Deep-UV fluorescence microscopy.
Manufactured using single substrates of UV-grade fused silica and backed by Chroma’s generous warranty, these filters are currently available in 11 different passbands in a wide range of sizes, from 2mm-200mm. Many various combinations of center wavelength and bandwidth can be custom manufactured, from small volume prototypes to full production runs.
These highly durable filters have laser damage thresholds >0.15 J/cm2 using a 355nm laser (10 ns pulse, 10 Hz), and suffer no degradation after 2 hours @ 300ºC.
