Lissotschenko Mikrooptik GmbH (Limo) has announced that its diode lasers can be ordered with technology to improve wavelength stabilization. The technology is integrated into each laser’s standard housing without changes to the outside dimensions. The lasers, which range from 3 to 400 W of output power, have wavelength shifts of <0.01 nm/K, reducing cooling costs, and feature spectral widths <1 nm FWHM. The pump efficiency of the lasers is optimized independent of output power or operational current or temperature. They are suitable for dermatological, ophthalmological, urological, vascular and dental surgery, and tooth-bleaching applications as well as for pump sources for solid-state and fiber lasers.
