MDS Analytical Technologies has released modular stage inserts for the ArcturusXT and Veritas laser capture microdissection systems. They accommodate larger slides for neurological sample preparations and can hold multiple slide sizes of 25, 38 and 50 mm at two positions during one session. The system also offers a six-position fluorescence turret with filter cubes in three positions for specific applications. The instrument is suitable for capturing pure cell populations.
