Static Ceramic ConvertersStatic ceramic converters from Schott AG accelerate compact laser light applications without moving parts.

For laser-pumped phosphor light sources, the phosphor ceramic converter components power high irradiance and luminance. The 100% inorganic ceramic converter material is soldered on the heat spreader to allow high-power use. The ceramic-phosphor material is temperature stable, heat conductive, and bright. It combines the properties of a ceramic with an efficient light conversion. The fluorescent ceramics convert blue laser light into high luminescent yellow, green, and white light.

Applications include laser light projection, search lighting, medical lighting, endoscopy, life sciences, and stage lighting.
