Haydon Kerk Motion Solutions Inc.’s stepper motor drivers are available for 24-h shipment, and there is a stepper driver that will work with virtually any size linear actuator the company offers. Step resolution ranges from full- and half-step bipolar drivers to microstepping drivers capable of 1/256 step increments at the finest resolution settings. For a complete self-contained programmable stepper motor controller, the Idea drive is a suitable choice. It features an integrated microprocessor-based programming module. All programming is done through a graphical user interface, enabling operators to quickly write and debug motion programs. Typical applications for the company’s linear motion products include robotic assemblies in life sciences research instrumentation, infusion pumps in medical applications, and precision liquid dispense systems in medical testing equipment.
