IDS N30IDS Imaging Development Systems GmbH has announced the N30 and N35 Ensenso 3D stereo cameras, which are suited for demanding industrial environments.

The cameras meet international protection marking standards IP65/67 and offer a high-speed Gigabit Ethernet interface and a choice of focal lengths and convergence angles, offering flexibility in the imaging of moving and static objects.

Two built-in 1.3-MP CMOS sensors combine high-resolution imaging with high frame rates. A random pattern generator provides texture on the scanned object to ensure proper characterization for stereo camera images and the creation of 3D models. The N35 offers an enhanced pattern projector, doubling the resolution for static-object imaging.
