Basler AG has announced industrial-grade stereo cameras with coordinated application software.
Robots equipped with the devices can perceive their surroundings in real time. The five model variants are available in basic distances of 65 and 160 mm, each in monochrome and color versions. Its onboard processing allows the cameras to be integrated directly, without an external computer. All cameras are equipped with a pre-installed, modular onboard software package suitable for typical robotics applications such as object recognition or bin picking.
