The SS490 4K ultrahigh-definition camera from Sidus Solutions LLC is designed for subsea applications and provides superior video image quality at 4× the resolution of 1080 full-HD images.
The camera maintains full 4K resolution while providing excellent focus with a 20× zoom and a combined optical and digital zoom of 144×. The SS490 delivers better picture quality than non-4K models due to its high dynamic range, which is helpful with varying lighting conditions such as working with multiple remotely operated underwater vehicles or reflectivity from stainless steel objects.
The SS490 is rated for operating depths of 3000 or 6000 meters and is constructed with titanium, stainless steel or aluminum housings paired with sapphire or acrylic windows.
