The ASE Shield from TeraXion is an amplified spontaneous emission (ASE) suppression filter developed to eliminate ASE at the source in applications such as spectral combining, telecommunications, medical laser systems, and scientific research. The all-fiber filter uses fiber Bragg grating technology to eliminate design restrictions allowing for increased output power and stability in systems. The ASE Shield features an in-line filter, low insertion loss, low return loss, and availability in different wavelengths.
