Surface-Mount LEDThe OD-685C LED from Opto Diode Corp. is a deep-red, surface-mount device LED, fully operational within a wide temperature range from −65 to 125 °C.

The device features 2.0 mW of radiant power, a peak wavelength of 685 nm and a radiant efficiency of 56 percent. The forward voltage of the OD-685C is typically 1.8 V with a maximum of 2.2 V. The spectral bandwidth at 50 percent is 30 nm. For higher optical power, the device may be operated with total power dissipation at 110 mW and continuous forward current at 50 mA or with the peak forward current at 100 mA.

The OD-685C is ideal for use in harsh environments for biological analysis, health, science, medical and veterinary applications.
