The Optinspec AOF-100 automatic surface inspection system from Wavelength Opto-Electronic Pte Ltd. allows users to automatically mass inspect and generate data with an integrated graphical user interface software.
Inspecting flat and spherical optics now has become much more productive and faster. The inspection process will detect scratch and dig, bubbles, coating and impurity flaws, and stains. The system is calibrated with targets traceable to U.S. MIL-PRF-13830B military standard, effectively grading surface scratch and dig defects. This system will replace the tedious method of manual inspection and it will improve productivity and result reliability.
Customers can now better ascertain optical surface quality with actual data and print-outs so when customers define their scratch and dig requirements on their orders, manufacturers and vendors can now provide detailed reports to support their customers’ requirements. The system will be used for metrology and targeted at all precision optics manufacturers.
