SPICEWOOD, Texas, May 26, 2023 — The AK2A and AK3A series of ClearClock oscillators from Abracon LLC are ultralow jitter surface-mount devices for stable and accurate clock signals.

The devices provide reliable and efficient oscillations while maintaining 25-ppm stability over a temperature range of -40 ° to +85 °C and 15-ppm stability over -20 ° to +70 °C.

With package sizes that support industry-standard footprints of 2.5 × 2.0 and 3.2 × 2.5 mm, the oscillators offer space-saving designs. Third overtone ClearClock technology mitigates phase locked loop-based multiplication, eliminating the chance of reduced overall power consumption. Applications include optical transceivers and modules, data centers, network switches and gateways, and 100 G/200 G/400 G/800 G Ethernet.
