HOD HASHARON, Israel, Aug. 29, 2016 — Surveillance PayloadControp Precision Technologies Ltd. has announced the SHAPO Airborne EO/IR surveillance payload.

The gyro-stabilized 3-gimbal camera payload was designed for surveillance and observation on a variety of airborne platforms including aerostats, helicopters, fixed wing aircraft and unmanned air vehicles. The compact camera payload includes a high-sensitivity color day camera and a thermal imaging camera with a continuous optical zoom lens.

The SHAPO can also include an optional laser range finder, laser pointer and mission management moving map system. Maritime and land versions for installation on patrol boats, vessels and observation vehicle are available.
