LOD, Israel, March 1, 2023 — System on ModuleThe VAR-SOM-MX93 System on Module from Variscite Ltd. is based on the NXP i.MX93 application processor for smart edge systems.

The module runs on a 1.7-GHz Dual Cortex-A55 NXP iMX93 processor and 250-MHz Cortex-M33 real-time processor. It offers a dedicated neural processing unit, 0.5 TOPS, built-in security features, and an energy flex architecture. It is compatible with the VAR-SOM Pin2Pin system on module series, providing a range of performances from the i.MX6UL module to the iMX6 and i.MX 8M modules, and up to the high-performance i.MX 8X and i.MX 8QuadMax modules. It provides industrial features like dual GbE, dual CAN bus, and industrial temperature grade.
