WALDKIRK, Germany, Feb. 9, 2022 — Systems Management DeviceThe Monitoring Box from SICK enables users to monitor and preventatively maintain sensors, machines, processes, and plants in industrial applications.

The device can be adapted for diverse individual operating requirements to provide live status feedback and historical analysis, supporting more effective maintenance and optimized efficiency. Industrial operations ranging from manufacturing and logistics to ports, transport systems, or waste management facilities can begin digitization towards Industry 4.0.

Enabled by pre-configured applications on a range of SICK sensors, the Monitoring Box provides transparent data monitoring through an intuitive, browser-based dashboard for desktop or mobile devices. Device data is processed via Internet of Things gateways to enable local data storage on customer premises or through secure connection to the SICK cloud.
