Thorlabs has introduced the new T-Cube line of compact, versatile, easy-to-use electronic controllers. Each unit measures only 60 x 60 x 47 mm (2.4 x 2.4 x 1.8 in) and may be mounted directly to an optical table or used with the separate T-Cube controller hub, which provides communication for up to six T-Cubes.
This family of single-channel controllers includes models designed for either solenoid, stepper motor, DC servo or piezo drivers that allow either manual or PC control. For ultimate control, the strain gauge reader may be combined with the piezo driver to provide closed-loop positioning.
Whether your application requires control of shutters, flipper mounts, translation or rotation stages, the user-friendly software and USB interface make these controllers a plug-and-play option for motion control in an extremely small footprint.
