Wavelength Electronics Inc. is offering its PTC-CH series temperature controllers in a compact chassis-mount package that can be paralleled to drive up to 20-A current. They operate with the PLD-CH laser diode drivers, having compatible controls, connections and status indicators. The controllers support thermoelectric and resistive heater operation with all sensor types. Features include user-configurable temperature set point, adjustable proportional gain, and a transistor-transistor logic-compatible remote disable. Accuracy is >1 mV, and temperature stability across ambient is >1.4 mK. Applications include electro-optical systems, benchtop inspection instruments and medical diagnostic equipment.
