TERAHERTZ SPECTROMETER The TPI spectra 1000D system launched by Bruker Optics Inc. and TeraView Ltd. adds reflective sampling to the terahertz pulsed imaging spectroscopy performed by the TPI spectra 1000. Because the attenuated total reflectance and specular reflection sampling geometries are modular in form, users can choose the best measurement method for each sample type, including liquids, powders, gels, creams, films and reflective surfaces. The user also can choose between germanium and silicon crystals so that spectroscopic information can be gathered from various depths from the sample surface.
