THREE-AXIS SYSTEMS Raylase AG has redesigned its Axialscan three-axis systems to include the RLT-19 linear translator to increase processing speed by more than 60%. Speeds of more than 16 m/s in a 500 × 500-mm field are now possible.The head design also has been improved. The company says that the Superscan-SC-30’s deflection speed is 40% faster than that achieved by other models. The deployment of ceramic mirrors enables short acceleration times, and the system executes rapid jumps and accurately processes tight corners. It can be used to process moving articles.
