MUNICH, Dec. 23, 2014 — Menlo Systems Tera SyncTera Sync from Menlo Systems GmbH is a synchronizable terahertz time-domain spectroscopy system offers measurement times as low as 20 s and features an optomechanical delay line with a >850-ps scanning range.

The laser system can be configured with various multicolor and high-power optical outputs. It uses Menlo’s scientific oscillator to phase lock external THz sources such as a synchrotron or laser for pump-probe experiments, characterization of charge carrier dynamics and novel THz sources, faster THz imaging in quality control or flexible integration of a cryostat compartment.
