06PS7_2.jpgH2W Technologies Inc. is offering limited-angle torque motors that produce high acceleration and torque, and ripple-free motion. The single-phase brushless low-profile motors are vacuum-compatible to 105 t and are suitable for operating valves, control surfaces on submersible watercraft, aerospace fin actuation and precision ball-screw rotation, and for positioning laser reflecting mirrors. They are available in kit and housed styles and in two series. The MR models have a toroidally wound iron core stator with two-, four- or six-pole permanent magnet rotors and provide rotation to 180°. The WR series is an arc-segmented multipole permanent magnet stator motor with a low-inertia copper magnet wire rotor for rotation of <90°.
