TRAP-IT™ Beam Dumps Liquid-cooledTRAP-IT™ Laser Beam Dumps Liquid-cooled models are designed to dissipate incoming laser power via heat dissipation. Place these control measures in a position along the optical beam path to provide a final beam stop. Available with 2 inch [50 mm], 4 inch [101.1 mm], or 6 inch [152.4 mm] diameter target apertures, these designs allow for large beam cross sections. Recommended for use with up to a 1000 watt laser, and laser damage threshold < 150 W/cm2.

These potential limits could increase depending on supplied cooling loop capabilities and your ability to expanded the laser beam to a larger size. Coolant fittings require poly tubing with a 10mm outside diameter, maximum pressure: 50 psi [3.5 bar] and require 1/4 gallon per minute [0.94 litters] for 1-200 watts, 3/4 gallon per minute [2.83 litters] for 201-500 watts, and 1 1/2 gallon per minute [5.67 litters] for 501-1,000 watts.
