Santec Corp. has introduced the TSL-210F tunable laser, which covers the O- to the U-bands. It emits light at a certain wavelength between 1260 and 1630 nm (370-nm range) with >3-mW optical power through the range. The company says the device offers wide wavelength tuning and automatic control via a PC. The TSL-210F is suitable for metro and long-haul applications in optical fiber communications systems.
