SANTA CLARA, Calif., May 22, 2014 — Spectra-Physics’ new Talon 355-15 laser delivers >15 W UV power, >300 µJ pulse energy, and a wide-repetition rate range of 0 kHz to 500 kHz.

The Q-switched diode-pumped solid-state laser powers the manufacturing of PCBs, semiconductors, LEDs, ceramics, flat panel displays, solar cells, glass and other such devices and materials. It is available in >15, >12 and >6 W UV and >20 W green versions.
