Edmund Optics has introduced its line of TechSpec Compact Objective Assemblies, devices designed to reduce the weight and size of an imaging system while maintaining optical performance.

Optimized to allow shorter tube lengths and long working distances, the assemblies are compact, light and offer configurable magnification.

Each lens includes broadband antireflective coating to provide even, maximized light transmission in the visible spectrum.

TechSpec assemblies are suited for application in the biomedical and machine vision industries, including microscopy, flow cytometry and inspection for pharmaceuticals, assembly lines and faults. The devices are available in 2×, 5× and 10× objectives with various numerical aperture options.
