BARRINGTON, N.J., Nov. 16, 2010 — Suitable for UV beam shaping and for use in harsh environments with large temperature variations, Edmund Optics’ TechSpec UV fused silica PCX cylinder lenses provide good UV transmission with a low coefficient of thermal expansion.
Cylinder lenses focus light in only one dimension and are most commonly used with linear sensor arrays or to create a line from a laser source. The lenses are manufactured in 12.5-mm-diameter sizes with focal lengths of 25, 50, 75 and 100 mm, and in 25-mm-diameter sizes with 50-, 75-, 100- and 150-mm focal lengths.
All are supplied uncoated, with a wide variety of custom coatings available upon request.
