A live tool provides information on lens-light alignment and how to obtain the best lighting performance. A live recursive algorithm aligns the optical axis and provides a precise perpendicular object plan. It solved misalignment between the lens and collimated light; the lens and object plane; mismatching on the working distance; and residual distortion.
