VI Systems GmbH V50-850MA new optical fiber test module from VI Systems GmbH is suitable for multimode transmission up to 50 Gbps.

The V50-850M transmitter is based on an 850-nm vertical-cavity surface-emitting laser (VCSEL) chip design in a high-frequency package. The device is coupled to multimode fiber and designed for test setups for next-generation short-reach optical interconnects.

The maximum optical output power is specified at 6 dBm. The typical operating voltage is 2.4 V.
