For image quality testing of optical afocal systems TRIOPTICS has developed the telescope test bench ImageMaster® Afocal. The horizontal measurement system is well suited for afocal samples like telescopes and riflescopes. Additional options and dedicated sample holders enable measurements of various parameters for binoculars and spotting scopes. The wide range of parameters include MTF or magnification and with its focusable collimator also specific measurements like parallax (free distance) are performed.
