A temperature controller has been released from Lake Shore Cryotronics Inc. for laboratory and temperature measurement and control applications.

The Model 336 controller is available with four standard inputs and four control outputs. It delivers 150 W of low noise heater power, and its two independent heater outputs provide 100 W and 50 W for use with any of the four sensor inputs. Each can be programmed for closed-loop temperature control in proportional-integral-derivative mode.Lakeshore-temp-controller.jpg

It supports diodes, resistance temperature detectors and thermocouples and allows users to measure and control temperatures from 300 mK to > 1500 K. To help automate secondary control functions, alarms, relays and ±10 V analog outputs are available.

The model offers standard Ethernet, USB and IEEE-488 interfaces, and it provides users a new front panel layout and keypad logic, bright graphic display and LED indicators to create a user-friendly front panel interface.
