The ONE-1600ER module from VIAVI Solutions is a testing and validation platform for 1.6Tb optical components. The platform has full Ethernet support based on the latest 802.3dj specification, including 1.6Tb, 8×200G testing for exercising and analyzing 200G lanes at 224G SERDES. It offers native support for riding heat sink OSFP 1600G modules and delivers RFC2544 for full performance testing. The ONE-1600 offers inter-sublayer link training and symbol muxing to full interoperability. It features a 12-channel, single-slot variable-optical attenuator module with millisecond time response and embedded power control for parallel optic applications like DR8 and co-packaged optics.
