HOOD RIVER, Ore., Dec. 17, 2014 — Sierra-Olympic Viento 640The Viento 640 thermal camera with Camera Link interface, by Sierra-Olympic Technologies, is designed for surveillance, diagnostics and military imaging.

The camera’s spectral response range is 8 to 14 µm. It features a 640 × 480 × 17-µm uncooled vanadium oxide focal-plane array in 30 Hz or 9 Hz. It also has user-selectable NTSC or PAL analog and 14-bit/8-bit Camera Link digital outputs, with USB or RS-232 serial control.

The camera offers eight athermalized optics options, including numerous horizontal fields of view.
