HOOD RIVER, Ore., Nov. 13, 2014 — Viento thermal camera from Sierra OlympicAn uncooled microbolometer thermal camera, the Viento 320 from Sierra-Olympic Technologies, features 320 × 240 resolution with a 17-µm pixel pitch.

Easy to integrate into new or existing systems, the Viento 320 infrared camera has user-selectable NTSC or PAL analog video, with simultaneous 14-bit/8-bit Camera Link digital video outputs. It also includes standard connector interfaces.

The camera is based on the latest 17-µm uncooled focal plane array technology, featuring multiple automatic gain control modes, such as image contrast enhancement and an integrated normalization shutter.

Applications include process monitoring, industrial imaging, robotics guidance, perimeter security, surveillance, unmanned vehicle imaging and traffic management, among others.
