Thermal Camera SystemThe XIR-1800 Thermal Camera System from Xiris Automation Inc. is designed for additive manufacturing and critical metal joining processes.

The XIR-1800 provides enhanced imaging of key weld zones such as the melt pool, deposited material, and surrounding base material. Capturing real-time, thermally calibrated temperature measurements from 350 to 1800 °C, the XIR-1800 helps improve in-process control and quality assurance for fabricators. Manufacturers can capture images and clearly see the melt pool even in harsh environments of smoke, fumes, and spatter.

The XIR-1800 is easy to integrate into existing processes and connects with Xiris’ WeldStudio software suite. Multiple Xiris weld cameras and peripherals such as weld microphones can be used together for data synchronization, capture, and analysis.
