Upgraded thermography cameras from InfraTec GmbH may be used in routine preventive maintenance and R&D.
The new EverSharp algorithm now included with VarioCAM High Definition cameras facilitates focusing regardless of objects’ distance from the camera and irrespective of the lens used. The cameras also include a permanent autofocus feature, integrated laser rangefinder and range of optional lenses.
The uncooled camera family is equipped with a 1024- × 768-pixel detector. Portable models are available for research and inspection, while the “head” version is designed for stationary tasks in harsh environments.
Designed for continuous operation, the integrated optomechanical MicroScan unit is now in its third generation and enables VarioCAM HD systems to acquire thermographic images and video sequences with a resolution of 2048 × 1536 pixels, aiding detection of small structures and defects on large-scale measurement objects.
