JENA, Germany, Feb. 5, 2013 — The IR-TCM HD high-definition cameras from Jenoptik use an uncooled infrared detector with 1024 × 768 pixels for thermal image aquisition. With proprietary optomechanical resolution enhancement technology, they produce thermograms and image sequences with spatial resolution of 3.1 megapixels and temperature resolution of 50 mK in real time. Subframing capability enables frame rates of 240 fps.
For simple system integration, camera control and data output, a variety of standardized interfaces are available.
Applications include industrial and scientific research and development, automation technology, process control and aerial photography.
Matching a variety of thermal imaging applications, a choice of infrared optics is available, ranging from wide-angle to telephoto lenses.
