MONROVIA, Calif., Feb. 28, 2017 — the LF Fiber Laser Series from Amada Miyachi AmericaFour new models in the LF Fiber Laser Series from Amada Miyachi America Inc. are designed to address thicker materials or increase application processing speeds.

The higher-power models range from 250 to 1000 W. The LF Series offers continuous wave and modulated fiber laser technology with both single-mode and multimode options. Featuring a large touchscreen pendant that enables clear visibility of process schedule parameters, the LF Series has an intuitive interface that offers users quick and easy programming. All models enable spot sizes down to 10 μm for thin-metal welding with welding penetration depth beyond 0.16 in.

The lasers are ideal for micro spot welding, seam welding and precision cutting, as well as medical spring attachment, medical component assembly and battery tab welding.
