Thin-Film Polarizing CoatingA thin-film polarizing coating from Laser Components Inc. simultaneously separates the polarizations of three wavelengths and can be used to distinguish between lasers of the same wavelength.

Manufactured and designed according to customer specifications, the optic combines linearly polarized laser beams from several sources of differing wavelengths and separates the unpolarized beams into polarized light simultaneously. The trichroid thin-film polarizer was designed for an angle of incidence of 45° and exhibits reflection properties for red, green, and blue light for s-polarization, while p-polarized energy is transmitted with high efficiency.
