Lumex has launched its InfoVue TFT (thin-film transistor) LCDs, a line of full-color graphic display technology available in touch-screen or standard format. The LCDs feature an extended temperature range, LED backlighting for a 500:1 contrast and a profile starting at 3 mm. They can operate from –20 to 70 °C, making them suitable for applications that require consistent performance in extended hot or cold environments. The LED backlights enable richer colors and darker blacks. The TFT LCDs are suitable for medical devices, including display features on radiology equipment, monitors, defibrillators, infusion pumps, blood gas analyzers and ventilators.
