Semiconsoft Inc. has launched version 3.0 of its TFCompanion software for thin-film data analysis in biotechnology applications. The upgrade provides imaging ellipsometry/reflectometry data analysis and image processing/analysis features for biochip applications. It allows users to select a feature set depending on application requirements, and it includes integrated data control and acquisition for spectrometers from Avantes Inc. and Ocean Optics Inc. The software supports measurement of thick transparent substrates (for LCD and optical coating applications, for example), as well as various standard formats for data import.
