Thin FiltersDeveloped to be placed between the lens and sensor, 1-mm thin filters from Jos. Schneider Optische Werke GmbH (Schneider-Kreuznach) are equipped with a coating for high transmission and steep slopes.

Ideal for challenging machine vision applications, the filters feature an ultra-low reflection coating, which is, for example, welcome in traffic surveillance use. In addition, a wavelength tolerance of +/-1% is ideal for metrology systems. Optimized for common LEDs, the filters can be used for automated inspection systems in food and beverage control or logistics. For night or day vision cameras, a VIS-85 model transmitting in the 430- to 680-nm and 855- to +/-15 nm ranges is available.
