Ti:sapphire laser The Model CPA-2061 amplified Ti:sapphire laser system from Clark-MXR Inc. includes a telecom diode-pumped fiber oscillator, a pulse stretcher, a regenerative amplifier, a kilohertz Nd:YAG pump laser, a pulse compressor, built-in diagnostics and active hydrothermal stabilization. The 775-nm laser has an adjustable repetition rate of 3 to 6 kHz, pulse width of <150 fs and a beam diameter of 4 to 6 mm. It is compatible with Nopa, the company's noncollinear optical parametric amplifier, and has an optimized spatial mode. The fully integrated, transportable system offers drift-free performance and is suitable for ultrafast micromachining.
