Time-Resolved Intensified CameraLambert Instruments BV has announced the next generation of its TRiCAM time-resolved intensified camera, designed for scientific and industrial applications that require low-light imaging.

The device's sensor captures up to 160 fps at full resolution, reaching over 1000 fps at reduced resolution. Due to its electronic global shutter readout method, the sensors read out all 2.3 million pixels simultaneously, preventing rolling shutter effects and ensuring optimal image quality.

An image intensifier is attached to the sensor, boosting incoming light and allowing detailed image capture in challenging light conditions. Ultrafast gating enables exposure times down to 3 ns. By precisely timing these exposures, the TRiCAM can be used for time-gated luminescence and laser-induced fluorescence. With modulation frequencies up to 120 MHz, the device is also suitable for frequency domain applications.
