CHELMSFORD, England, Jan. 24, 2023 — Time-of-flight SensorThe Hydra3D+ Time-of-Flight (ToF) CMOS image sensor from Teledyne e2v Ltd. incorporates 832 × 600-pixel resolution for versatile 3D detection and measurement.

The 10-µm three-tap pixel provides transfer times starting at 10 ns and displays high sensitivity in the NIR wavelength with demodulation contrast. The sensor operates in real time without motion artifacts and temporal noise at short ranges for applications such as pick and place, logistics, factory automation, and factory safety. An innovative on-chip multisystem management feature enables the sensor to work alongside multiple active systems without interference.
