OLCHING, Germany, Feb. 4, 2015 — qutools quTAUA new time-to-digital converter from qutools GmbH is suited for time-correlated single-photon counting.

The quTAU records the timestamps of electrical signals and transmits the time an event occurs and the count rates of eight individual input channels via USB to a PC. It offers temporal resolution of 81 ps and an individually selectable coincidence time window.

All features are designed for applications in quantum optics, fluorescence microscopy and high-energy physics.
