The DepthVista time of flight (ToF) camera from e-con Systems Inc. features a ToF depth sensor for depth measurement and the onsemi AR0234 color global shutter sensor for object identification.

It captures 640 × 480 depth maps at a frame rate of 30 fps, allowing autonomous mobile robots and guided vehicles to perceive their environment and navigate safely. It does not require ambient illumination, making it suitable for systems operating in low light or complete darkness. Depth calculation is performed in the camera itself, reducing computational load and providing a ready-to-use frame with the necessary depth information.

Applications include autonomous mobile robots, robotic arms, autonomous guided vehicles, retail analytics, face recognition, patient care, and more.
