ALMELO, Netherlands, Oct. 2, 2018 — QTC Torque motors from Tecnotion BV feature a magnetic design optimized for maximum flux density and copper fill to provide high torque to volume ratios.

Manufactured in volume, the Tecnotion Torque motors feature encapsulated windings and two types of thermistors as standard features at competitive pricing. Tecnotion offers motor sizes from 68- to 160-mm diameters. The devices are compact, provide an extremely stiff drive train, eliminate the need for time-consuming mounting procedures, are virtually maintenance-free, and can be integrated directly into the machine structure. An open inner diameter enables wire and cable feedthrough. The series comes with completely sealed stators, integrated temperature protection, and measurement sensors.

With continuous torque ratings ranging from 0.27 to 63.5 nm and speed ranges from 190 to 6918 rpm, the motors can play a pivotal role in increasing the availability and cost-effectiveness of many different applications such as semiconductors, printing, robotics, machine tooling, and more.
