TracePro 2022Lambda Research Corporation is proud to announce the release of TracePro 2022, the latest release of our award winning TracePro software. TracePro 2022 incorporates many new and improved features such as a new geometric modeler, numerous new surface types and apertures for the Lens Element tool, a new All-mouse mode, dynamic highlighting and tooltips for identifying surfaces, and a new option for applying material and bulk scatter properties to the environment.

TracePro 2022 now includes numerous CAD and lens design importers as well as STEP, IGES, and SAT file translators, at no extra cost. TracePro combines a graphical user interface with solid modeling, Monte Carlo ray tracing, analysis features, CAD import/export, optimization methods, and a complete and robust macro language to solve a wide variety of problems in illumination and optical design and analysis. More than just a ray tracing program, it also provides advanced tools for designing medical devices, illumination, display backlights, light pipes, automotive lighting, and many other applications.

TracePro’s Photorealistic Rendering capability enables you to visualize the lit appearance of a design before building a physical prototype. TracePro is also a powerful tool for the analysis of non-imaging aspects of imaging systems such as stray light and polarization. With its full set of features, designers can simulate surface effects including absorption, specular reflection and transmission, and scattering. Bulk properties including absorption, scattering, and fluorescence enable the design and analysis of devices for a wide variety of applications.

Lambda Research Corporation sets itself apart as a cost effective, single source solution for optical and illumination design. Lambda sells TracePro®, opto-mechanical software differentiated by its ease-of-use, CAD interface and accuracy in illumination design and RayViz™, an add-in for SOLIDWORKS that provides a bridge to TracePro and optical ray tracing in SOLIDWORKS.
