WESTBURY, N.Y., June 22, 2016 —
Spectroline Corp. has announced the BI-O-Vision series of transilluminators designed for dual-light convenience in one unit.
The devices emit high levels of UV radiation through the viewing surface and are engineered for the visualization of target DNAs and proteins. The Bi-O-Vision series features two workstations, producing both 312-nm UV and white light.
The TD-1000R model offers fixed-intensity while the TVD-1000R model offers variable-intensity control of either UV or white light. These units are continuously adjustable from 100 down to 50 percent, enabling researchers to select medium wavelength UV or white light illumination to view fluorescent gels or visible blots.
